My Latest Adventure: Lapel Pin Design
I’ve always fancied lapel pins. I’m not sure why, I’ve just always really enjoyed these tiny symbols that show off a cause you believe in, a group you belong to or some other miniature personal statement you want to make to the public by way of your lapel. I suppose it’s even funnier that I’ve never actually worn a lapel pin on my lapel; I much prefer to put a whole slew of them on my handbag or backpack. That way I can make all sorts of personal statements at the same time and I don’t have to make sure I have a suitable collar for a lapel pin.
I’ve recently decided that aside from collecting lapel pins from events and scouring flea markets and antique shops for old lapel pins, I am going to begin to tinker with lapel pin design and see if I can’t come up with some of my own ideas that would look great on someone’s lapel. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner. I love lapel pins, so it’s only natural that I might want to look into lapel pin design. The best part is that I found an online source for ordering pins with my own lapel pin design, so now I’m going to look into that more. I’m so excited about this new adventure, I can’t wait to order my first batch! Pretty soon I will have lapel pins made from my very own lapel pin design. And, for a girl that fancies lapel pins as much as I do, that is pretty exciting!
